Atlantic Maritime Photos
This is another region of mixed forests, here in a climate moderated by the Atlantic Ocean. It is extensively but lightly populated, with some areas like Prince Edward Island largely agricultural but many parts fairly natural outside of urban areas. It is well known for it's fall colours and picturesque fishing villages, and contains the Bay of Fundy with the highest tides in the world.
In this region I have done several road trips with backcounty day outings, and have done paddling trips on the north shore of PEI and the St. Croix river (NB)
